Meet your presenters:

Booth Parker, CPA

Booth attended NC State University where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority and earned a B.S. in Business-Finance Concentration and a Master’s Degree in Accounting. She has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant since 2005.

Booth worked for nearly 15 years in a Controller/ CFO capacity over multiple auto dealerships, commercial real estate entities, and holding companies. In 2020, Booth became a Master Certified Financial Coach and shifted her career focus to financial consulting for small business with a focus on women owned businesses. 

Booth has been married to Wood Parker since March 2004 and has one son, Wood V, a freshman at Sewanee: The University of the South. Booth serves on the Audit Committee of First Baptist Church, as the Treasurer for the Crystal Coast Hospice House and is also on the board of directors for the Carteret Community College Foundation. 

Silvana Botta

Silvana Botta graduated Summa Cum Laude from High Point University with a B.S. in Housing and Interior Design and a minor in Home Furnishings Marketing. Early in her career, she played a key role in supporting the international director for brands such as La-Z-Boy, Furniture Brands International, and Lane, helping achieve significant market growth in Latin America through strategic market penetration plans and innovative dealer acquisition strategies.

With nearly 30 years of experience spanning design, international trade, hospitality, and nonprofit management, Silvana has honed a unique ability to align creative vision with business strategy to drive measurable growth. Her expertise includes leading multi-million-dollar operations, developing actionable marketing and operational plans, and building sustainable organizational frameworks.

Now residing in Newport, NC, with her husband and two dogs, Silvana is a proud mother of three and an active community leader. She serves on the boards of the Carteret General Hospital Foundation, further leveraging her strategic planning expertise to benefit local initiatives.

Jillian Lister

Jillian graduated from NC State University in 2014 with a degree in Brand Management and Marketing. After six years in corporate America, she founded Set Sail Marketing in 2020, a family-run business on the Crystal Coast where she works alongside her husband, Pat. Over the past four years, Jillian has helped over 100 businesses and nonprofits elevate their social media presence, drive engagement, and achieve measurable growth. Her expertise spans diverse industries, making her a trusted resource for strategic marketing and digital brand development.

Jillian serves as Chair of the Carteret Community College Foundation Board and is a board member of the Crystal Coast Chamber of Commerce. She has been recognized as a Local Role Model in the 2022, 2023, and 2024 Carteret Curated People’s Choice Guides by MCKRE.

Jillian has been married to Pat Lister since 2020 and is a proud mom to two sons, Wright and Warren. She enjoys boating, family time, and giving back to her community.
